First off, fire Ryan Day.

Ohio State lost it's 2024 matchup against *ichigan. After the game, *ichigan players showed disrespect by attempting to "plant their flag" on the Ohio State 50 yard line. Ohio State players, who didn't show much fight during the game, decided to finally show some fight and deny the *ichigan players their flag planting.

Flag Planting

To me, and many others,[1] planting a flag on a home team's field is a sign of disrespect.[2]

I can see how it appeals to thugs, as for them, it is the last great thing they will ever do in their lives. Seriously, have you seen the percentages of NCAA football players that actually make it into a professional football career?

I agree, the team should have won the game. However, what most pundits and rabid fans do not take into consideration is the fact that some of these stadiums have seen over 100 years of football and thousands of games. None of this horseshit happened until recently.

  • John Cooper, a TERRIBLE COACH was 2-10-1 against *ichigan. Nobody ever planted a flag during his time at Ohio State. The worst thing that happened was Desmond Howard acting like a Heisman trophy.
  • Jim Tressel was 9-1 against the Wolverines. In this classy era of college football, no one dared to be untoward at all. No flags planted.
  • Urban Meyer was 7-0 vs *ichigan. Nobody planted flags on his behalf. Nobody planted flags at all.

Ohio State doesn't do that paltry, thug, "urban youth" horseshit.

And then there was some dumb player who added his two cents:

But he wasn't asked about what would happen if Indiana, a team that hasn't beaten *ichigan since 1988, but did this year, decided to plant a huge IU flag on the "Big House's" 50 yard line.

Pepper Spray

To separate the players and others fighting on the field, multiple law enforcement agencies utilized pepper spray. While many *ichigan fans were quick to blame the Columbus Police Department, there were several law agencies on the field.

Two *ichigan players managed to get pepper sprayed by the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.
An Ohio State player caught a face-full too.
HSI is Homeland Security. Wonder what they were doing there, other than getting free tickets to a premier game?
Pat Forde is a writer for Sports Illustrated. LOL.
Stephanie Otey...may or may NOT have gotten a dose of pepper spray. She acts like she did, but later says it was a joke. Sounds like she may have smelled it on somebody else.[5]

Fire Ryan Day

If you lose 4 straight games to your bitter rival, you probably should start looking for a new job. During the post-game conference, Ryan Day was "upset." This is the type of spirit that this dope can muster. He is fighting for a championship...and he is ahem...upset. What an utter clown.

Ryan Day was handed a championship level program and drove it over a cliff (see video below). For context, Urban Meyer was 7-0 against *ichigan. Day is 1-4.
