PVC Slide Repair Coupling
No, this isn't the latest FleshlightⒸ.[1] It is what's called a "PVC Slide Repair Coupling."
What Is It?
Well now, I am glad you asked. Aside from SharkBite[2] fittings, these things are the second greatest fitting of all time. They are PVC plastic[3] in a grade that allows up to 450 psi.[4] This means they are incredibly the right choice for water main repairs.
So You Gotta Fix Some Shit

1. Cut out the offending material.

3. You get a PVC Slide fitting and go to town!
