This book of magic spells, hexes, home remedies, recipes, and other fun stuff, is now called The Long Hidden Friend, or, True and Christian Instructions for Everyone. Comprising Wonderful and Well Tested Remedies and Arts, for Men as well as for Livestock. Or, more simply, The Long-Lost Friend.

It's a Pennsylvania-Dutch thing, I guess. I have it here, in full, in case I ever want to read it or if anybody wants to download it. Also, there is a recipe for homemade beer.
