WEI
Web Environment Integrity or WEI is the latest product for the web from Google. WEI is your safe and effective passport for the web! You're going to love it, because without it, nothing on the web is going to work anymore. Like you needed to present your mRNA vaccine passport to enjoy restaurants and bars, you will soon need your WEI passport to enjoy the web.
How does it work? A lot like your mRNA passport in fact! When you visit a web page, your browser will be asked to present valid WEI passport. Just like when you visit a restaurant, you need to present your mRNA passport. Isn't that exciting?!
Where do you get the WEI passport? Easy you just have to use Chrome. You can also use a small number of other APPROVED browsers like Microsoft Chrome (Edge) or Apple Chrome (Safari). Only the browsers that know how to report your request to the passport checking web site owned by .. who even knows (NSA probably) will be granted a passport to visit the web site.
But don't worry, it's easy to use. Chrome will be reporting all your browsing activity to this mystery passport website without you even needing to know about it. It just works! You won't even know it's happening... unless you happen to use and enjoy an unapproved browser. But no problem, you just have to download, install, and use a free APPROVED browser and all your problems will go away like magic. FREE! Just like your covid jabs.
Well, unless of course, you do something naughty, like not support the global spread of degeneracy. Then you may find that your APPROVED browser will suspend your web browsing activity for a few days or weeks or forever while you think about what you've said. You really shouldn't be doing that.

The Future
All it will take is for some rando to do something stupid on the internet and this "discussion of WEI" will become the "reality of WEI." Additionally, governments and corporations are not above fomenting such stupidity for their own personal gain.
One way or another, it has already started and there is no escape.
This is more of a bad omen for things coming in the industry. Digital passports have been rumored for a long time now and it looks like they are finally in the beginning stages of implementing them.
Yeah, sure, not all websites are affected now. Give it time.
They will use everything in their power to enforce this. Hardware and software designed to not use "naughty" programs. Eventually all your old computer parts will break and you will have to replace them with new compromised ones. "Evil" software will stop being supported and you will be required to use Windows 11 and future releases that are even worse.
You can try to avoid it for as long as you can but eventually you will have to make a choice to either comply, leave the Internet, or move to tor/linux and hopefully you can find hardware that will still support it.
