Stache's was[1] a dive bar and small concert venue that used to be located in Columbus, Ohio.[2] They were also famous for allowing under-aged drinkers in. It didn't matter how fake your ID was, they would just stamp your hand and let you in.
Nirvana
Nirvana was a grunge band who had huge success in the mid-1990s. Their success ended when the wife of the singer and guitarist had him murdered. However, before he was killed and before the success, Nirvana was just a shitty touring band that hit every night club and venue they could find. This is how they ended up playing at Stache's.
