Kirk Herbstreit is a sports commentator, former Ohio State quarterback, and a professional asshole.
Back in 2011, Herbstreit moved his family out of Columbus, going to Nashville, Tennessee. The college football analyst said he loves Ohio State, but the fringe portion of the Buckeyes fan base was making his life too hard in Columbus.[1] 
The Unofficial Story
Kirk moved out of central Ohio back in 2004, stating that he did not like the toxic atmosphere he was forced to endure. Ohio State football fans thought that his commenting at ESPN was biased against the Buckeyes. Kirk even goes so far as to claim that "somebody tried to set my house on fire with my family in it..." but to this day, nobody knows who really set the fire.
At the same time, Kirk, who is a family man was also having trouble with the woman he was cheating on his wife with.[4] Seems that she didn't take "no" for an answer and threatened to expose his infidelities to a wider audience. So Kirk moved his family and wife the hell out of Columbus and escaped to Nashville, TN.
