None of this has to do with the crazy things that happen when you pickle garlic, but I will get around to it.

The Back Story

So, a friend of mine had a metric shitload of cucumbers. She had been growing them in her back yard and they got out of control. She had no idea what to do with them, so I told her to pickle them. As of this time, I am not sure if she did or didn't, but I hope she did.

My Case

This made me think of my own garden and the vegetables within. This year I grew a LOT of peppers. I tried to get some jalapeno plants, but for some reason they were out of those seeds AND the plants. Scrambling, I purchased a bunch of peppers that I was not used to growing. Hungarian peppers, Banana peppers, Cayenne peppers, Poblano peppers, and some hot peppers I don't even remember the names of.

Turns out, I know how to grow peppers, evidently. They exploded and I had bushels and bushels of peppers that I had no idea what to do with.

So I Pickled Them
