--Eric Long(6801) heard shots ricochet at Leawood Park.


--John Ungerland(1697), while standing at Pierce and Fair Street, heard shots coming from school, and observed rounds impacting a sign at that location.


--Lacey Koch(3469) saw Mr. Ivory Moore, teacher, in Leawood Park moving around as if to dodge fire. Mr. Moore himself(6923) doesn't mention it. [Interesting question: Is Mr. Moore an African-American, and was he specifically targeted because of his race?]


Now all of this could have been fit into LE's version story, but many witnesses also reported these shots directed into Leawood Park as coming from a gunmen OUTSIDE of the school:

--Nicole Ann Wiegand(6017) reports panic running in Leawood Park at 11:40-11:45.

--Luke Hannifan(3230, 5889, and 9883), while in Leawood Park, sees gunman outside the east doors with pistol firing several shots into the park. Gunman described as 5'11" tall, 160lbs, light hair.

--Lauren Waterbury(6004): "The gunman came outside(east doors) and starting his shots and went back into the school."(sic)

--Lindsay Williams(6025) thought there was a shooter outside the east 'emergency exit' door shooting at the kids exiting.

--Dannon Cowgill(7474) sees a TCMer by the front door of the school at 11:35 while driving down Pierce. Others were running past him. He was standing by the fence which seperates CHS from Clement Park.

DEAD WITNESSES

A number of people connected with the case have met untimely fates.

Bobby Patterson - An ex-con who knew one of the suspects and victim Isiah Shoels and allegedly hung himself at his home in Wheat Ridge, CO on 4-29-99. His mother said he "did not want to go to jail again." (p. 21470, JCSO files)

Sean Brenner - Student of a nearby school who allegedly committed suicide on 5-6-99. A week after the massacre he reportedly told a friend that he felt guilty because he had heard a rumor about an impending attack on Columbine High School. (p. 24945, JCSO files)

Dana Plato - An actress who died of an alleged prescription overdose in Oklahoma (some believe it was murder) on 5-8-99, weeks after leaving the home of Rachel Scott, whose family had briefly taken her in. Scott was the officially the first of the victims to be killed. Her diary contained cryptic statements that implied she suspected she would die and that she would be shot. Plato's whereabouts on 4-20-99 are unknown but her name appears on the Master Index of Names. Police received a tip from a "concerned citizen" identified as Robert Monaghan who claimed to know Scott, and who believed she and Plato were involved in electroshock research.

Corey Hager - Columbine student who was killed in a vehicle accident in North Dakota on 7-10-99. Hager was officially off campus when the shooting occurred despite two witnesses placing him in the cafeteria. His interview is missing.

Carla Ann Hochhalter - The mother of wounded (paralyzed) student Anne Marie Hochhalter allegedly shot herself in a gun store on 10-22-99. According to the BBC, a second round was fired after she shot herself in the face. There is no explanation as to how she would have loaded the gun (she would not have been given bullets) and the store clerk, unfortunately, claims he had his back turned. Anne Marie had told investigators that she was not shot by Harris or Klebold. She further stated she could identify the gunmen.

Nicholas Kunselman and Stephanie Hart - Columbine students who were shot to death in a Subway two blocks from Columbine High on 2-14-00. No money had been taken from the register. Among the former employees of this Subway was Rachel Scott.

Greg Barnes - Columbine student who helped keep teacher Dave Sanders alive allegedly hangs himself on 5-4-00. His friends and family recalled he had been in good spirits and had expressed excitement about the basketball season next year.

Ben Kuhn - Columbine student allegedly hangs himself in 2001 (date unknown).

Jonathan Ladd - Columbine graduate dies in a mid-air plane collision over north Denver on 1-27-03. SWAT immediately takes control of the scene. Ladd was in the school on 4-20-99 and told news about a bomb threat that morning.

Ericka Leigh LePine - Found dead (24 years old) of 'undisclosed causes' in prison on 1-18-04. LePine had been arrested in Appleton, Georgia in Sep. 1998 for planning to murder her mother. One of the male students she attempted to enlist in the plan was arrested along with a friend on 4-19-99 for planning an attack on their high school. They both wore black trench coats and were described by police as "a carbon copy" of the suspects in Colorado. There were early reports (later reversed) that they had been communicating with Harris and / or Klebold online or had been going to the same website.

Joseph Stair - A suspect in the case who allegedly commits suicide on 9-13-2007, days before the long-delayed Columbine Memorial. His funeral would coincide with the Memorial.

Tim Roche - The reporter for Time Magazine who was allowed to view (and transcribe) the basement tapes died of "multiple strokes" at 38. The JCSO has since destroyed the tapes.

Russ Cook - Sheriff John Stone's successor as Jefferson County Sheriff in 2002 was found dead in his home in Nov. 2008. He had vowed to "get to the bottom of the Columbine mess" and he "was writing a book about Jefferson County politics." Antonio Davalos, 11 - The boy's body was found in a trash can within a mile of Columbine High in Jan. 2000. A sketch (based on the descriptions of two witnesses) indicated the suspect was wearing a black baseball cap, a black coat and blue or black jeans.

JCSO dispatcher Cindy Cline -
Passed away on 6-7-2009 "after a short illness." On the early morning of 4-21, Cline wrote: "When I left the office at 0130 to come home and try to get a few hours of rest before I head back in for more of the same, the body count was up to 19. There were over 20 others shot and transported to local facilities."

There exists compelling evidence that more than fifteen people (the official number) were killed.

Tiffany Lien - Freshman on 4-20, and an outside witness, was murdered by her husband on 8-28-2005.

Matt DePew - A graduate of Columbine - allegedly electrocuted while working on power lines on 6-15-2013. DePew was locked in the may have been a witness to mysterious police actions inside the school - including possible 'elimination' of other suspects. DePew's father was with the Denver PD and reportedly one of the first officers on scene. According to the Denver Post (6-19-13): "The cause of Depew’s death is still under investigation by the Eddy County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit. Xcel is also conducting its own investigation." The results of this investigation - and why a power lines accident would be of interest to the SIU - remains unknown.

Some strange deaths before 4-20-1999:

Brian Stone - Sheriff John Stone's son, who allegedly hung himself in 1988. It's unknown whether or not he attended Columbine.

Robert Malin Craig - An associate of the Trench Coat Mafia who allegedly shot his father and then himself on 4-29-1999.

1) The news outlets *refuse* to release the first half hour of footage taken at the scene.

This includes early shots of the crime scene (taken from news helicopters) and of arrests - such as those of Chris Morris, Larry Scott Petty and the "Splatterpunks."

There were also a number of people in 1999 / 2000 posted on usenet groups and mailing lists that they had seen strange things on the live feed:

-Some stated they saw footage of an individual in a trench coat climbing over a fence on campus and escaping into the neighbourhood.

-Others said they saw a police or military vehicle with the letters "NATO" on the side. As strange as it sounds, there have been persistent rumours of NATO personnel at the scene since 1999.

There was a probable planned attack with many similarities to Columbine in far-off Evans High School in Georgia. The Columbia County Seriff's Department in Appling, Georgia questioned two students on April 19, 1999(the day before Columbine) regarding death threats they reportedly had made at Evans High. Police seized guns at both boys homes. They wore trench coats over their all-black outfits with combat boots.
The Georgia authorities said there was no connection to the events in Colorado, which was "contrary to many news reports... that are currently circulating throughout the region." Early local media reports, however, said the two groups were in internet contact or were visiting the same web site.

According to video teacher Gary Talocco(8976), roof repairman Gary Clark told him he saw 3 people exit a vehicle with H&K, and that a tan vehicle followed them into the lot. Clark denies he ever said any such thing.

14) Dana Baylis(8912): Manager of a 7-11 near Kennedy High School, she sees 3 males, including one wearing TC(tall, slender, long blonde hair, shoulder length) enter her store at 1:55pm, acting 'strange' and 'nervous'. They deny any knowledge of what's going on at CHS.

16) Lt James Smith, Boulder PD SWAT(8305): AT about 11:30pm, "...we overheard radio traffic that 4 or 5 persons in uniform had made an unescorted entry through the east entry door. Several minutes later we observed 4 people walk out of a door on the northwest side of the school. All 4 were wearing jump suits with ATF markings. We were asked to contact the individuals and find out who they were."

17) Eric Carline(7451): A homeowner in Klebold's neighborhood. On Saturday, April 17 he hears gunshots coming from the area of Deer Creek Canyon Park(aka Denver Mountain Park), very close to homes. He yells for the shooter to knock it off, and thinks no more of it. Until April 26, when he notices a white male, late 20s or early 30s, looking for something in the same area. He thinks it might be the spent shell casings, and is suspicious enough to take down a license plate number.

According to the police, the vehicle is registered to a Jeffrey Harthan, white male, 150lbs, 6'0", blond, 34 years old.

Does he have anything to do with the shooting? There is no indication that he does, but why would he suddenly feel the need to gather up the spent shell casings? And why are parts of Carline's statement redacted?

As a young police officer in California, John P. Stone pulled campus riot duty against Vietnam War protesters his own age. The Michigan native reportedly always wanted to be a police officer, following in the footsteps of several family members.

He moved to Colorado, he began as a patrol officer for Lakewood PD [also the alma mater of Lt. John Kiekbusch, who helped him run JCSO's investigation]. His captain on the Lakewood force was the man who served as his undersheriff -- John Dunaway ["coincidentally" director of risk management for the Jefferson County School District on 4-20-1999]. He specialized in burglary and also worked as a juvenile officer for 2 1/2 years. Also served in robbery-homicide unit.

He shot and seriously wounded a sword or bayonet-wielding assailant "who had me up against the wall, coming in for a final plunge.'" Patrick McDuffee - a member of the Trench Coat Mafia - gave a detailed statement to law enforcement on the evening of 4-20 identifying multiple students at Columbine, Chatfield and Bear Creek as having foreknowledge (and varying degrees of involvement).

There were also the three arrested in a field adjacent to the school.
